Help!! beware of devious autocrat!

THis Singapore guy is like a pop up ad. Have you ever seen the AOL ad for popups where these sales reps get right in the face of the guy walking toward the building, but when he gets to the door the popup  guy can't get in....this is a perfect example.

There is no doubt in my mind that sales rep attack Dr.'s on a daily basis with their drugs and their toys and pens...it seems everytime I go to the RD's office or my internists there is a sales rep in there.

The Portage Pfizer plant is located near me, if I take that route I would pass it each day taking my daughter back and forth to school. There have been many layoffs an dthey have a couple buildings for sale. Yes they had problems with a few drugs, drugs that helped people and I am one of those individuals that clearly believe, if the medication works, let me make the choice concerning the side effects.

I spose this guy that obviously knows very little about western medicine is our popup guy and we can view him as the "Jester". Dunno.....he just doesn't get it I guess.He is attempting to brainwash and convince, as you can all clearly see...IT ISN"T WORKING!!!!!!!!!!! 

I didn't get through the whole post, but have my 2 cents.

Yes, i too hate people who spam, but you know, that is 90% of the internet, so i just let it go and move on and don't let it trouble me.

I suffer from RA, one of the worst cases you can imagine.  I understand what it is like to want to give up and hate the world and hate this and that, but I just can't let it get to me.

Let it go.  Ignore it, complain to the site owner if it happens again, but other than that, ignore it.

We all know there is no miricle cure yet and if there was a doctor would come out with it and it would be posted in the news everywhere.

I understand how frustrated people can get from things like this.  But I hope we are all aware that these things are spam and that we shouldn't jump immediately into any new drug without the help of our doctors.

Just don't let it eat you alive.  The post was frustrating to me that I didn't real the whole thing, so maybe I missed something.

 boy oh boy I 'm not around for a couple days and everything goes nuts!!!!   To kakako88, everyone has an opinion and a belief on how they can get help for their Ra, oa, pa etc.  I for one am on Arava,& enbrel for my ra oa pa and it has done wonders for me I don't even take my naxporin for pain that often either.  I am one of the fortunate who has found releif from Arthur.  If you had seen me last year and now this year you wouldn't believe I was the same person.  I know that others have found help through other alternatives and it is working well for them.  Please remember what works for one person doesn't always work for another.  Some of the people have been thorugh hell with disease and we have been there for each other.  If you have found something that works for you that is absolutely wonderful, but do not put down others because they are not interested in it.  You  do not have the right to ridicule people on this board because they are not interested.  If you pm someone on  your health drink or whatever and they told you they are not interested then stop bothering them!!    If you want to advertise your product then do it the proper way contact the people who run this site, and have them put it on the home page and pay the fee that the other companies pay to be able to advertise at this site and stop bothering people with pms.  To my fellow Ai people, let just ignore this person and maybe they will get the hint.  meme

badbones, it is interesting about "attempting to brainwash and convince....". You already brainwashed yourself. Let me quote in chapter 4 in one of the books ..They Say, "There Is No Cure". Quote: Yet, you have read and heard on television and radio that "There is no cure for arthritis."  You have been warned that anyone who speaks to the contrary must be a quack or a fraud. Americans have been brainwashed with this propaganda through various communication media for so long that they accept this statement as truth. Cleverly written and professionally acted-with the authoritative aura of white-coated actors-these drug commercials bombard you from the magic screen day-in and day-out, in an endless repetition until you, in fatalistic resignation, giving up all hope of permanent cure, go to the nearest drugstore and buy a bottle of well-advertised painkiller, that promises you "relief". This guy don't brainwash but shoot an arrow with this message.

What are all these fuss? I firmly stated NO DRUG, HEALTHY & CORRECT FOODS to the world at large. IT WORKS FOR ARTHRITIS! In all treatments the conclusion is whether "Does It Work" This statement is for others to pick up and make lifestyle changes. Many people follow the "Natural Zone" or "Biological Zone".

You have your cocktail of drugs to persue for a cure and go ahead. You have your curative methods of accepted orthodox treatment with drugs. You follow your Twilight Zone. Your substances  are all about sales pit, giving names, making sweeping statements, about this guy and thay guy where is the logic!!! 

I just have to say this because, well it is the truth, and it needs to be said. Contrary to what you may believe, we do not see advertisments for the medications which we are taking. I can honostly say that for a while, years ago, I think Celebrex ran a commercial but it was general and not focused on RA/OA. The only one that I do see is for Tylenol Arthritis, and I have commented on this in a previous post...Tylenol Arthritis is a joke. Tylenol is good for some things but not RA. Most of us are well aware of the differences between acetominaphen and NSAIDS. So I can truthfully say that I have had more advertisement on this board for products than I have ever seen on television (and I watch alot of TV). Also if you read the posts and signitures you will find that the majority of us are on generic drugs, so the whole theory of  our RD's being influenced by drug reps is a wash. Prednisone, methotrexate and folic acid are all generics.  Ibuprofen and naproxen are generic as well. The good doctor writes for generic where possible to ensure that his patient can afford the medications which based on scientific clinical studies have proven to be the most effective for his patients condition. I work with doctors on a daily basis. These men and women are real people who work hard to do the right thing by their patients. They work the long hours and endure alot of stress and liability because they care about people, they want to touch lives---and hopefully make them just a little bit better. I am no fool, I know that healthcare in general terms is alot about money. But we all do what we do because of a calling to meet the needs of others. It is important not to let a few bad experiences cause us to make generalizations. The fact is that most doctors are trying their best to make people better, and their best is based on phenominal educations. I have had the pleasure to work with and be friends with several medical doctors who are exceptionally intellegent and really wonderful people.
