To lose one pound of fat, you must burn approximately 3500 calories over and above what you already burn doing daily activities. That sounds like a lot of calories and you certainly wouldn't want to try to burn 3500 calories in one day. However, by taking it step-by-step, you can determine just what you need to do each day to burn or cut out those extra calories.

Exercise briefly, multiple times a day.
Rather than spend 90 minutes in the gym, try to arrange your day so that you can get six 15 minute workouts. The “afterglow” effect, a higher metabolism rate that continues well beyond your exertion, will continue to burn calories while you’re not exercising. Win!

The best exercise to lose weight is brisk walk for 45 minutes daily. It strengthens the muscles around joints and increases mobility of joints. Consuming lots of green vegetables and fruits is best option in diet. But say a strict no to deep fried foods, sweets and high calorie foods.
