 does anyone have balance problems with polymyalgia rheumatica as i am having a lot of problems please let me no if you do

Carol, I have had a lot of problems with my balance. I was diagnosed two years ago with PMR. Last April I fell and hurt my knee and am still have to use a cane for balance.

Yes, I have problems with balance as well as leg pains that restrict walking. I
use a cane. I was diagnosed with PMR in Sept.05 during period of radiation
for prostate cancer. Will be 80 next month. I had been in perfect health
before this. Have a friend my age who also has PMR (for l yr.) His dose is
down to 5 mg. Pain was so bad at times he went to hospital for morphine.
He is doing well and hope that I will, too. Am back on 20 mg. as PMR
relapsed following slow decease to 10 mg.
