Flagyl used for Antibiotic Therapy

My doctor has me on 100mg of doxycycline twice a day and than every two weeks I have to take 1,000 mg twice a day. Anyone else on this kind of therapy? I hate it!

Hah, I just replied about the Flagyl on the other thread! Oops! But what I said was...

My b/f takes it all the time (he's a crohn's patient, it's just a precaution when he gets sick) and he's never had any issues with it. I took it when my eustation(sp??? the tube that drains your ears) was infected, and I don't recall any problems. What exactly happens to you?

There was a typo in my first post. Doxycycline and than every two weeks I have to take 1,000 mg of Flagyl twice a day for 5 days. Anyone else doing this?

When I am on the Flagyl I feel sick all the time. It's like I felt when I was pregnant with my son. Smells bother me, foods bother me. Just a blah feeling!
